The Master of Science in Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) program at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia is a Taught Course program specifically designed for graduates from science, technology, and engineering disciplines. This program offers an excellent opportunity for professionals from diverse backgrounds to enhance their technical knowledge and skills in SHE management. It covers essential aspects of Occupational Safety & Health (OSH), Environmental Protection, Process Safety Management (PSM), and Prevention through Design (PtD). Each module is taught by experts from both academia and industry, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience.

To further reinforce practical application, candidates are required to work on SHE Project I & II, where they can solve real-world industrial problems under the supervision of experienced researchers from FCEE. The program is currently available at UTM Kuala Lumpur, UTM Skudai, and Kerteh, Terengganu. Students can choose between two study modes: full-time, which spans three semesters, or part-time, which extends over four semesters. In total, candidates must complete 46 credits to fulfill the program requirements.
