The Master of Engineering course in Transportation at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia aims to enrich students' knowledge and foster a comprehensive understanding of various aspects related to transportation systems. This includes in-depth analysis and design of transportation systems, geometric design principles, highway materials, pavement design techniques, as well as construction and maintenance practices. Moreover, the course emphasizes the development of skills that enable students to continue their studies and engage in research within these specific areas.

To be considered must meet the following admission requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree: Candidates should possess a good honors bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia or an equivalent qualification. The degree should have a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.5 and above. The bachelor's degree should provide a solid foundation in civil engineering principles and relevant coursework.

  2. Lower Degree Grade with Working Experience: In certain cases, candidates with a lower degree grade may be considered for admission if they have sufficient working experience in the field. The working experience should demonstrate practical knowledge and skills in civil engineering.
