The Bachelor of Science in Cardiac Physiology (Healthcare Science) program at the University of Southampton Malaysia is a comprehensive and rewarding course that focuses on the detection and assessment of heart disease in various healthcare settings. With an equal emphasis on academic learning and clinical placement, students develop the necessary skills to provide specialized cardiac care and make a positive impact on patients' lives. Throughout the program, students study cardiovascular, respiratory, and sleep physiology before specializing in cardiac physiology. They gain hands-on experience in our dedicated cardiac skills lab and benefit from extensive patient interaction and workplace training through placements in outpatient departments, wards, theatres, and ITU. Graduates of this program are well-equipped to excel in the field of cardiac physiology and contribute to improving patient care and outcomes.
