The Bachelor of Science in Audiology program at the University of Southampton Malaysia is designed to equip students with the clinical and professional skills necessary to become audiology healthcare professionals. As the only UK university with in-house audiology and auditory implant clinics, students have access to comprehensive resources for practical training. Throughout the course, students learn about the foundations of audiology, develop a deep understanding of various conditions related to hearing loss and balance problems, and gain the essential scientific, technical, and healthcare skills required for a successful career as an audiologist. Practical sessions in dedicated skills laboratories and clinics, along with a 27-week clinical placement, provide hands-on experience and support in honing their audiologist training. This program also offers the opportunity for students to explore an aspect of clinical practice that interests them, fostering specialization and in-depth knowledge within the field of audiology.
