The Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Communication program at the University of Southampton Malaysia provides a comprehensive education that prepares students for a career in the field of graphic communication. Through this program, students will develop expertise and knowledge in various aspects of graphic design, including core design skills in areas such as graphic design, typography, motion design, interaction design, illustration, and image practices. Students have the option to specialize in a specific area or maintain a broad focus as interdisciplinary designers. They will have the opportunity to experiment with emerging and cutting-edge technological platforms while also exploring traditional physical media. The program is based at the Winchester School of Art (WSA), where students attend lectures and workshops led by expert creative practitioners in well-equipped design studios. Additionally, students will have the chance to pitch their designs to industry professionals and visit studios, galleries, and cultural spaces both in London and overseas. Throughout the program, students will acquire visual, technical, transferable, and conceptual skills through their engagement with four communities of learning. This program provides a rich and immersive learning experience that equips students with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in the dynamic field of graphic communication.
