The Doctor of Medicine (MD) Program at UCSI University Malaysia is known for producing graduates who excel in medical knowledge, skills, and leadership. The curriculum focuses on five key areas: basic medical services, clinical and therapeutic methods, community and family medicine, communication skills, and professional competence. It aims to train highly skilled doctors who can effectively address future medical challenges and contribute to advancing healthcare.
Starting from Year 1, students are based at the Springhill campus (Seremban/PD) where UCSI Hospital is located. Unlike just observing, students have the opportunity to actively participate in medical procedures. This early exposure to patient interaction helps facilitate a smoother transition from being a university student to becoming a medical doctor.
