The Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) Program at Taylor's University is designed to provide students with in-depth knowledge of medical sciences and clinical skills. The curriculum places a strong emphasis on clinical training in both medicine and surgery, ensuring that students are well-prepared to become competent and qualified medical professionals. The program aims to equip students with the latest industry practices and developments, enabling them to stay up to date with advancements in the field.
Additionally, Taylor's MBBS program offers support for students preparing for the USMLE, a requirement for working in the US. Students have exclusive access to Elsevier ClinicalKey Student, providing over 4,500 USMLE questions, study aids, mock exams, and detailed answers with performance feedback.

The program is divided into two phases: Phase I (Year 1 & 2) and Phase II (Year 3-5).
Phase I takes place at Taylor's University, Lakeside Campus and focuses on building fundamental knowledge in medical sciences while providing exposure to clinical medicine. Students have access to specialized lab facilities and gain clinical exposure at local hospitals. They learn history taking and physical examination techniques using simulated patients and models, developing skills in identifying patients' problems and proposing investigation plans. Completion of Phase I equips students with basic clinical skills to enter clinical rotations.
Phase II takes place at the Taylor's Clinical School, located near Hospital Sungai Buloh. During this phase, students undergo clinical rotations at designated hospitals from the Ministry of Health (MOH). They gain hands-on experience with patients and receive training from dedicated in-house specialists and consultants at Hospital Sungai Buloh. The rotations cover various clinical disciplines required for undergraduate training, including Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Psychiatry, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, and Anesthesia & Intensive Care. Students also have the opportunity to gain further insight into specialized fields of interest.
