The PhD of Philosophy in Sustainability Science and Technology programme at Sunway University aims to produce leaders in academia and industry through its multi-disciplinary approach to sustainability. Entry Requirements

Master’s Degree

A Master’s degree (Level 7, MQF) in Science or Engineering disciplines which can be accepted by the University Senate.

Other Qualifications

Any other qualifications will be considered on a case-to-case basis and subject to the approval and acceptance by University Senate.

Programme Structure

Candidates are required to take only one module namely Research Methodology to learn the techniques used to identify, select, process, and analyze information about a topic in research, in addition to the thesis component.

The PhD is awarded based on the successful completion of a thesis. The thesis should demonstrate proficiency, criticality and mastery in the subject or chosen area of research.
