The Bachelor in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Hons) program at Nottingham University Malaysia is designed to explore the transformative nature of electrical and electronic engineering in various aspects of our lives. The program covers a wide range of topics, offering both academic and practical knowledge.Throughout the course, students have the opportunity to study diverse subjects such as communications, computer modeling, electrical machines, electronic design, instrumentation, microelectronics, power generation and distribution, signal processing, software engineering, and renewable energy systems. This multidisciplinary approach allows students to gain a comprehensive understanding of the field and specialize in specific areas in later years of the program.
For students pursuing the MEng degree in the Bachelor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering program at Nottingham University Malaysia, industrial training is compulsory during the summer vacation following the second year. It should last for at least 12 consecutive weeks in the same company or institution. While not mandatory for BEng students, they are encouraged to participate in industrial training to gain practical experience and explore career prospects.
