The Advanced Diploma in Midwifery program at MAHSA University Malaysia is a highly-skilled program for nursing graduates who wish to specialize in caring for birthing mothers and postpartum care. Students receive training and clinical exposure in specialized areas such as gynecology, obstetrics, neonatal care, family and culture, antepartum and postpartum nursing, psychology in motherhood, preventive medicine, and recognition of medical complications in childbirth.

Upon completion of the program, students are eligible to sit for the certification examination by the Midwifery Board Malaysia. Graduates will be recognized as State Registered Nurse and Midwife by the Ministry of Health Malaysia. They will be equipped to provide skilled midwifery nursing, deliver quality care to newborns, mothers, and families, and address various aspects of pregnancy, birth, and antenatal situations.

Skilled midwives are in high demand due to the importance of birthing and babies in people's lives, and MAHSA University aims to produce highly competent professionals in this field.
